Titanic
Celebrates Lives of the Irish
The great Titanic
lives on in Branson. Titanic-Branson is a unique
90-minute walk-through experience. Here guests will relive the last
hours of that fateful voyage and make haunting emotional connections
to passengers and crew through their words and stories. Marvel at
the giant ship built half-scale to the Titanic’s original size.
Titanic houses more than 400 priceless artifacts and historic treasures,
and will allow each visitor to encounter the personal heroic and tragic
stories of its passengers. The showpiece is the Grand Staircase where
visitors experience the beauty of the Edwardian era. This emotional
journey allows you to see a first-class stateroom, touch an iceberg,
stand on the mighty ship’s bridge and hear the captain’s
commands, and look back in time through an exclusive Father Browne
photographic collection.
There are 2,208
passenger and crewmember stories. One of the greatest is about a young
Irish girl named Violet Jessop, a 24-year-old stewardess and one of
only 23 female crewmembers aboard ship. Her unique claim to fame is
that she served on all three sister ships: Olympic, Titanic and Britannic.
Come celebrate Titanic’s Irish tribute and meet their Violet
Jessop. She and the other crewmembers will share many other Irish
stories with you March 1 17. For more information, call 417-334-9500.

Pierce
Arrow Hits the Mark The
talent overflows in the Pierce Arrow Show, from the world’s
lowest bass singers, according to the Guinness Book of World
Records, to masterful harmonies and expert entertainers. Everything
from hot country, old country, pop, southern gospel, contemporary
christian music or patriotic tributes — these gentlemen
truly love what they do and it shows.
Providing comic relief is Jarrett Dougherty, known as one
of Branson’s funniest comedians and for his many hysterical
characters. You never know who might show up! He is the comic
spark that sets off explosions of laughter. You might just
stop, drop and roll in hysterics.
Desta McAuliffe, Branson’s beautiful ray of sunshine, will bring
you all the current musical styles as well as your most beloved country
songs. At age 24, Desta carries with her the elegance and composure
of any seasoned artist. Kim Boyce, former Miss Florida with many contemporary
Gospel hits, lights up the night at the Pierce Arrow Theater. Kim
is a beacon of pure talent and grace when she lifts her voice, singing
in her award-winning style.

shows: Music Makes the World Go Round, Breaking Up Is Hard
To Do, and Lomascola’s Million Dollar Piano Show.

Set at a Catskills resort in 1960, Breaking Up Is Hard to

wonderful Labor Day weekend. The score showcases 19 Neil
Sedaka classics, including “Where the Boys Are,”
“Sweet Sixteen,” “Calendar Girl,”
